An introduction to kinds of things/techniques I find visually appealing:
- Simple, dark, edited, photoshopped, sunset, pictures appear more visually appealing to me.
What kind of things influence my perspective:
- Things I have been through and experienced in my life so far. - My childhood.- My mood- People around me, my surroundings.- The media- Nature- Music
A particular image that sticks with me in my mind and what makes it memorable:
- The image of me driving sticks with me in my mind. It is memorable because I do not have my license anymore and I am not able to freely drive around. It is more difficult to get around without a car.
What I hope to learn/understand/experience in this course:
- I hope to learn, understand and experience how to be able to express a beautiful meaning with just one simple snapshot. One photo can convey a thousand meanings.
- This picture appeals to me because the mist makes it hard for me to make out where this path leads to which gives the picture a sense of mysteriousness. I took this picture on my way back home one misty day and thought it would be a perfect moment to take a picture.
- This picture appeals to me because there is a nice contrast between the colors. The colors give me a fantasy and unreal feeling. One day I hope to go see the aurora borealis and take my own pictures of it.
